APT-DLD 
Version 1.0, July 2020

Automated Phenotyping Tool for identifying DLD cases in health-systems data (APT-DLD) is an algorithm for classifying/identifying developmental language disorder cases in electronic health records system data. 
APT-DLD is publicly available for non-commercial usage.  Details on the development and validation of the algorithm are provided in Walters, Nitin, Margulis, Boorom, Gustavson, Bush, Davis, Below, Cox, Camarata, & Gordon (2020). The KNIME version of APT_DLD uses the output from the Broad Search to classify EHRs with language disorder codes identified after the broad search into DLD cases and non-DLD cases. The DLD cases will be in 2 categories - Category 1 and 2, and can be further used for phenotypic/genomic studies.
